Administrative Assistant 1 Available Title(s): 105E-YNCSNPS - Administrative Assistant 1 Business Title: Administrative Assistant 1 Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Part time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: Performs administrative, fiscal and graphic design work for the county director and provides office support to the county director; estimating, developing, and monitoring budgets from a variety of sources, including contracts, county government, conferences and contributions; training, graphic design and publishing, and organizing and directing part-time or full-time clerical staff and volunteers. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration or closely allied field. Clerical or office work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis, provided at least one year included experience at the Clerk 3 level or above. • Must have, or able to obtain, a valid driver's license by time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: • Expertise with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook. • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. • Experience with brochure and display design; print and online mediums; writing and editing skill; artistic/aesthetic eye towards design and layout. • Positive community service experience.
