Job Duties : Handle incoming phone calls and perform general administrative duties including faxing Take telephone orders Communicate with medical staff from physician’s offices and hospitals Schedule and/or coordinate appointments Call insurance companies or look information up online Develop and maintain knowledge of DME equipment and the rental/purchase policies. Prepare complete and accurate documentation needed prior to insurance claim submission. Create Sales Orders. Accept payments via credit card and cash. Monitor Brightree task list on a daily basis and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. Retail sales of DME. Stock supplies in warehouse bins. Pull/pack orders according to re-supply request. Set-up and delivery of large/heavy products. Assist with implementation of quality management program Must comply with all applicable company policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications : Ability to file, provide excellent customer service skills and maintain accurate records. Experience answering multi-line phone system. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and 10 Key by touch skills required. Minimum of two years exp. in a medical office environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Required: Attention to detail Must be able to work in a fast pace environment with multiple interruptions Knowledge of computer and telephone etiquette Data entry - Must type 50 - 55 wpm. Customer Service skills Preferred Skills : Interest in working with Senior population. Knowledge of Brightree and/or MedForce software Experience with medical billing or pharmacy Details : Full-time Typical hours are between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Must be able to work flexible hours $12+/hr depending on experience. Temp - Perm. Excellent benefits after hire!
