Position Purpose This position performs a wide range of complex technical fiscal and administrative functions for an integrated student Residential and Dining (RAD) program. This position provides a variety of multifaceted and varied fiscal analysis functions, including analyzing, forecasting, developing budgets, reporting, and preparing documents for vendor service contracts. The position establishes and maintains comprehensive fiscal recordkeeping systems for college self-sustaining auxiliary accounts and fee records and coordinates diverse unit-wide fiscal support functions, such as requisition, payroll, travel, purchasing, billing, and other division fiscal/business operations as assigned. This position ensures that all college and state rules, regulations, and policies are applied to the business and financial functions of the unit in areas such as purchasing, travel, and cash handling. Nature and Scope Under general direction, this position performs a variety of complex and varied fiscal administrative support functions. As part of the RAD leadership team, the incumbent serves as the primary fiscal operations lead to the Director and team and helps with planning and execution of departmental objectives and priorities in supporting the mission of the college. The position works across a large unit that includes multiple forms of student housing, such as residence halls, apartments, modular housing, as well as a full-scale dining operation for the campus. The incumbent works closely with the full team, including RAD leadership, Residential Life, RAD Facilities, Resident Directors, student residents and their families, student staff, and other college offices, including the division budget coordinator, student financial services, financial aid, and college business office staff. Essential Functions Analyze, develop, modify, and recommend improvements in program level fiscal recordkeeping and reporting systems across RAD programs; apply knowledge of accounts and program relationships, data flow, audit trails and internal controls to maintain, design, and implement department financial data systems. Independently maintain and modify fiscal record keeping systems, databases, and spreadsheets using software, review fiscal records, and assist in formulating corrections. Develop procedures for implementation, execution, control, and review/audit of program fiscal operations which include operations, capital projects, programs, and new initiatives.
