Health Advocates Network Certified Medical Assistant in Gig Harbor, Washington

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work at a facility in Gig Harbor, Washington. These are registry positions with our company.

*40hrs Travel Package          *

Weekly Gross Pay = $680       

Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $17         

Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $756 (Hotel-511 Meals-245)         

*Total Weekly ($756 is not taxed)= $1436         *

Feels like per hour = $35.9         

$1436 div 40 hours = $35.9 

Shifts Available:

  • Mon-Fri 7am - 330pm

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year (12 months) previous working experience as a Certified Medical Assistant

  • Must have up to date certification in the state of Washington

  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association

  • Ability to build rapport with patients

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

  • Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff

  • Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history

  • Update and maintain all client records

  • Assist nurse in maintaining medical inventory

  • Administer prescribed medications to patients

  • Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment

  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment
