Robert Half Management Resources Sr. Financial Analyst in Federal Way, Washington

A company in the Retail industry seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for a long term project opportunity. The main focus of this role will be on providing support to the Senior Vice President of Research and Development (R D). All financial issues will be managed by the Senior Financial Analyst consultant that includes project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting. You will need to follow public reporting requirements in order to perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments, as well as provide decision-making support for future company investments. Federal Way, Washington will be the home base of this Senior Financial Analyst. What you get to do every day - Collaborate with Operations and Accounting to drive improved management reporting by tracking financial results more discreetly and accurately - Team closely with Functional leads by executing management reporting, advising in accounting and compliance, and ensuring global and local operational initiatives are in alignment with each other - Execute monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management by analyzing financial results, synthesizing/distilling key trends, assessing future and current business risks, and articulating critical updates - Make business, operational, and financial processes to be shared, understood, and repeated by relevant teams - Build positive relationships with key business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership - Manage CapEx and OpEx forecasting processes for Infrastructure Engineering Delivery. Drive rollout of cloud reporting and forecasting - Evaluate financial results, summarize key issues, and articulate integral messages to senior management in order to drive existing management reporting - Cultivate business performance through the use and execution of financial analysis - Offer assistance for ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests as necessary - Manage monthly and quarterly close, along with puts and takes process
