- JOB SUMMARY*
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer shall participate in the development of new aircraft interior designs. Duties shall include development of component specifications, schematics, and CAD definition of wire routing and equipment installations.
Create detail schematics and requirements
Wire routing and 3D modeling
Review LRU design concepts and supplier drawings for fulfillment of specification requirements
Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment
Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects
Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints
Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university
Three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience in wire routing
3D modeling experience
Familiarity with aircraft interior design practices, electrical requirements, and component qualification requirements
Previous experience modeling within NX
