Providence Health & Services Carpenter in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Carpenter to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, in Everett, WA.
This is a temporary - full-time (1.0 FTE), day shift position.
Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work related to the maintenance, repair and construction of building facilities, equipment and furniture.
In this position you will:
Completes work orders and projects in a timely and satisfactory manner by performing skilled carpentry duties including abilities in interior and exterior finish work which may include framing, sheet rocking, taping, repairing walls, flooring, doors, cabinetry, fabricating and installing cabinetry, furniture and openings.
Prioritize work appropriately.
Document time and project status.
Orders supplies and materials as needed for project completion, monitor project expenses with status as required, maintain inventory on a cost efficient basis.
Performs other duties as assigned, willingly accept projects and work assignments as assigned by manager.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a carpenter; OR full journey status as a carpenter; OR extensive applicable work experience
Professional Construction Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, Cabinetry, Flooring, experience
Knowledge of finish and construction materials such as wood, laminates, flooring, plastics, metals, sheetrock and other construction related systems
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Lock Out-Tag Out Training
