The T-Mobile Product Leadership Team is looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager of Product Management to own and lead T-Mobile's SyncUP products mobile driven end to end experience. These include connected cars, smart watches for kids, trackers, location tracking services, and more. This individual will take explicit ownership of the team development, execution, strategy, end to end experiences, and impact the future products which enable T-Mobile customers to feel peace of mind. We're looking for an insightful person that brings a startup attitude, bias toward thoughtful action, and a burning desire to build innovative teams and products that deliver impact. You will partner closely with marketing, legal, privacy, UI/UX, Frontlines, vendors, and engineering to complete our mission. Responsibilities: Effectively leads technical product and engineering teams to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and coaching, tools to do job by role and conducting performance reviews and conversations. Creating training, career development plans and ensures assignments with increasing levels of responsibility Monitors and measures work tasks to ensure results are provided on time and within budget. Defines and drives continuous development practice improvements across technical subject areas and organizations (e.g. team structure, roles, processes, tooling, security & compliance). Leads all aspects of technical relationships with multiple assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for integration in future product releases. Driving and owning current and future state technical road map in collaboration with Design and Enterprise Architecture and building/maintaining cross organizational teams. Interviews and hires qualified managers and team members, seeking to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff when required. Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed. Qualifications: 7-10 years Relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment. 2-4 years experience in a leadership role 2-4 years experience leading teams of 5 or more resources in direct reporting relationship in a Product Management organization. Shown success in delivering software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools. Strong requirements elicitation, and confirmed writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences. Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools. Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest. Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives. Consistent record to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence.
