SERVICE INSTALLER Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Service Installer is part of a team that installs dock ramps, custom docks and custom fabricated dock parts. This position works in a fast-paced environment that requires a daily commitment to meet customer needs by scheduled deadlines. This is a full-time position, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts based on business need. The normal schedule will be 7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These duties are those typically performed in this position. Employee may not perform all the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties. Using a variety of hand tools and machinery to measure, cut, drill, and fasten materials Interface with customers, suppliers, and fellow employees to ensure that quality, cost, and customer satisfaction targets are met Maintain clean work environment by removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials; properly maintain and store all tools and equipment when not in use Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization Performs other duties as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or learned within a short period of time to successfully perform the assigned duties. High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Valid Boater Education Card highly preferred or must have the ability to obtain within 90 days 6+ months experience in a construction or labor-intensive environment preferred Must have excellent customer service and verbal communication skills Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
