Job Description:

Concur is looking a User Experience Research Lead with a passion for the customer experience and a vocal customer and end-user advocate. You will help our global product teams throughout Concur define and drive our user experience. Responsible for improving the user experience for millions of users. Your work will influence product strategy, priorities and help to create a clear vision of the current and future user experience across our platform/ecosystem of products.

You enjoy being proactive and getting face to face time with our customers. Always looking for new and better ways to channel and amplify the voice of our end user.

This role will help research frameworks and patterns for our global teams. Willing to innovate and create new research methodologies geared towards answering complex research questions. Having strong influence and storytelling skills and the ability to pull together engaging, visual outputs that support our strategy.

We are looking for a leader with experience working in an Agile development environment with a focus on delivery and goals. Experience creating and executing research that support multiple products and teams in all phases of product development. As a lead on the team, you’ll be mentoring product team members and collaborating with leaders across Concur.

Position Requirements


  • 8+ years in a technical related field

  • Master’s Degree in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Usability Engineering, Cognitive Psychology or related field is preferred

  • Breadth of research methods and ability to suggest and implement those that work best for specific study requirements and constraints

  • Familiarity working in agile product development environment
Must be organized, self­driven and able to work under tight deadlines and changing requirements

  • Ability to lead others. Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.

  • Proven track record designing and conducting user research studies end­to­end and record turning research results into actionable deliverables

  • Ability to recommend and use modern technologies to facilitate and streamline research.

  • Excellent working knowledge of statistics and the principles of experiment design.

  • Strong technical aptitude to understand technological challenges of some of the products and work successfully with highly technical product teams Value Competencies:
