Job Description:

Principal Systems Analyst to perform detailed technical analysis and deliver solutions design to support functionality enhancement requests to multiple systems that support care, retail and customer channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead collaborative design sessions with Architecture, Development, Middleware, User Experience, Billing teams and business owners to coordinate solutions across all impacted systems including multiple customer account maintenance UIs, web, point of sale, billing, middleware, handset applications, IVR, product catalogs, and data warehouses

  • Apply experience in software design and development for enterprise systems functioning in a Service-Oriented Architecture environment (where the enterprise includes customer account maintenance UIs, web, point of sale, billing, middleware, handset applications, IVR, product catalogs, and data warehouses) in order to identify end-to-end impacts of new products and requirements across the existing IT Infrastructure

  • Lead technical design of customer account maintenance functions (including activations and service changes) for customer care systems in an environment where Monthly Recurring Charges are assessed by billing systems with over 50 million customers.

  • Perform technical design in support of cross-platform user-interface applications (web, tablet, desktop) for over 1000 concurrent users.

  • Provide technical system design recommendations to meet business and functional requirements

  • Drive design solutions for integration between third-party enterprise software and custom-built enterprise applications that support over 50 million customers

  • Deliver comprehensive functional specification and technical specification documents to convey enterprise-wide technical solutions for business, marketing and EIT-sponsored projects to software developers, management, vendors, and business teams for cross-platform systems (web, tablet, desktop) with an international user base where the documents include the following:

o Code logic

o service orchestration and mapping

o traceability matrices

  • Demonstrate as-is and to-be states in Visio for the following diagrams:

o State diagrams

o Swim Lane diagrams

o Decision Flow diagrams

o Sequence diagrams

  • Function in a project where engaged teams utilize Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid software development life cycles

  • Review project artifacts to ensure end-to-end design is carried through to the domains

Required Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in MIS, business administration, related field or its equivalent and 7 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate relevant work experience. In the alternative, we will accept a master's degree in in MIS, business administration, related field or its equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience.

Applicant's experience must include:

  • Software design and development for enterprise systems functioning in a Service-Oriented Architecture environment where the enterprise includes customer account maintenance UIs, web, point of sale, billing, middleware, handset applications, IVR, product catalogs, and data warehouses;

  • Creating documents that convey enterprise-wide technical solutions for business, marketing and EIT-sponsored projects to software developers, management, vendors, and business teams for cross-platform systems (web, tablet, desktop) with an international user base;

  • Designing solutions for integration between third-party enterprise software and custom-built enterprise applications that support over 50 million customers;

  • Performing technical design of customer account maintenance functions (including activations and service changes) for customer care systems in an environment where Monthly Recurring Charges are assessed by billing systems with over 50 million customers; and

  • Performing technical design in support of cross-platform user-interface applications (web, tablet, desktop) for over 1000 concurrent users.
