Job Overview The Sr Compensation Manager provides compensation analytical, process and program management support to Compensation, HR and business units, as applicable, to ensure alignment with T-Mobile's compensation strategies and goals. This role is responsible for the development and consistent implementation and administration of compensation strategy, processes, programs and policies to support compensation standards and pay equity strategies. This role provides guidance and governance of compensation programs and decisions related to compensation, job architecture, market pricing objectives or pay equity initiatives. The Sr Compensation Manager is also responsible for providing research, analysis and insights to identify opportunities and solve business needs related to market competitiveness or pay equity metrics. Specific accountabilities may be related to compensation philosophy, compensation strategy, market research and architecture or the company's pay equity program. This is a hybrid role based in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS. Job Responsibilities: Provides enterprise-wide subject matter expertise on market pricing or pay equity standard methodologies. Develops, implements and administers guiding principles for market pricing or pay equity strategies. Researches and continuously aligns programs and approaches to company-wide compensation strategy and philosophy. May prepare special studies, analyses and recommendations on subjects such as market competitiveness or pay equity movement. Recommends solutions or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related challenges. Specific responsibilities may be related to job architecture and framework, job evaluations and pricing, vendor management, engaging with internal/external counsel, crafting or presenting compensation dashboards, and educating/influencing leaders on particular compensation goals and approaches. Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as designated by business management as needed. Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required) Master's / Advanced Degree (Preferred) Experience: 7-10 years Compensation experience (Required) Experience working with a market pricing system (Preferred) Experience with pay equity analysis (Preferred) Experience in data migration, system integration, and testing related to compensation processes within Workday (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Analytics (Required) Presentation skills (Required) Attention to detail (Required) Confidentiality (Required) Negotiation (Required) Project management (Required) Microsoft Office (Required) Proficiency in Workday HCM (Human Capital Management) system and compensation specific modules (Preferred) Strong quantitative skills for data analysis and financial modeling (Preferred) SharePoint (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) (Preferred) Certified Sales Compensation Professional (CSCP) (Preferred) Professional in Human Resources (PHR) (Preferred) Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) (Preferred) * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States Washington Pay Range: $132,900 - $179,800 o The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate
