Amazon Senior Program Manager, Canada Transportation in Bellevue, Washington

Description

Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager to plan and execute transportation supply chain initiatives in the Americas, with a primary focus on Canada. This is a highly visible role with focus on transportation planning, and network design to drive continuous improvement. The role will lead cross functional initiatives, manage resources and risk, steer approvals, and drive implementation. Stakeholders include senior leaders at Amazon, partner operations teams, technology and non-technology teams, as well as external vendors and partners.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop operational strategy and write project proposals.

  • Lead large cross-functional projects, end to end, to deploy logistics solutions in Canada.

  • Develop functional requirements (tech and non-tech), localized for country specific compliance.

  • Liaise directly with senior leadership on defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Develop and improve project and program management processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
