Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.

Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in support of Sales pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting.

Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams. Understands principles of Sales business/revenue/pipeline management. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.

The Executive Programs Manager will support the North America Executive Programs Team by helping to establish and manage communications and relationships with Oracle s key C-level customers, prospects and internal Executive Leadership. This person will be responsible for executing strategic programs targeting the c-suite with cross functional teams to create demand in North America and track their success. Working closely with the Territory Sales Directors and Leadership, Product Management, Corporate Marketing and Cross-LOB marketing teams, the Executive Programs Manager will drive execution of regional field events, national programs, communications, follow-up strategy, measurement and campaigns to educate and drive business value to customers in the c-suite.

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Work with North America Sales to translate business goals and objectives from marketing plans into compelling event strategies for our internal executives and plans that deliver c-level engagement, leads, pipeline and revenue

  • Set priorities in the implementation and creation of events that support the business, program strategy/objectives, and integrated campaigns utilizing Oracle Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Oracle portfolio content (offerings and messaging), and aligned (high value) offers

  • Develop and deliver breakthrough ideas and innovative event activities / tactics that attract new buyers, educate, and drive engagement to the c-suite

  • Ensure that there is an effective post-event follow-up cadence to increase relationship building and education

  • Track, measure and report on event performance against agreed-upon metrics, working with the events team to identify and analyze gaps and actions plans to course-correct event execution

  • Communicate the Executive Programs detail to key stakeholders in Sales and Marketing

  • Work with Key Account Directors, Field Marketing Managers, Account Managers and Sales management to develop and improve key communication vehicles that add value to the Field

  • Determine metrics which demonstrate the value of executive programs to Oracle, and ensure stakeholders understand and buy in to the metrics being tracked

  • Work with the Global Customer Programs, Corporate Marketing and Event Marketing to improve targeting, pro-active Executive scheduling and event planning based onanalytics

  • Research and provide success story documentation from Executive Programs, and share on Community page and Executive Programs portal

  • Develop scalable process and plans to further automate audience acquisition processes to be used for all Executive Programs activities



Preferred Qualifications/Characteristics

  • 6 years of experience in working with sales teams and/or in a sales role, communicating with senior-level company executives and their staff and event marketing teams and event project management

  • Hands-on experience with all aspects of event planning and execution including operations, promotion, content development, and sponsorships.

  • Exceptionally detailed-oriented with the ability to successfully manage multiple, concurrent projects with high demand and heavy email and phone call volume

  • Flexibility to hold conference calls and complete tasks outside of normal business hourswith global stakeholders

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional interpersonal skills

  • Resourceful, self-starter. Sense of urgency and strong work ethic

  • Excellent team player; able to build and maintain productive partnerships


*Travel Component: *Approx. 30% to 35% travel within North America may be required to successfully fill this role.
